Position Summary & Description

The Department of Philosophy at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) invites applications for an anticipated full-time temporary position for the 2016-17 academic year. Area of Specialization: Open. Areas of Competence: Ethics, Environmental Ethics, Political Philosophy.

Duties:

Teach political philosophy and introductory-level ethics and applied ethics classes. Four sections each semester, including two sections at a nearby branch campus in spring semester.

Position Qualifications

Required:

Ph.D. or ABD by August 2016. Teaching experience required. 

Candidates must communicate effectively and perform well during the interview(s).
