Visiting Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

The Philosophy Department at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania seeks applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor, with a 3-2 teaching load.

The successful candidate will teach philosophy of art, and two sections of introduction to philosophy in fall 2016; for spring 2017, the successful candidate will teach one section of introduction to philosophy, and one intermediate or advanced course in philosophy. We are especially interested in applicants who can teach a course on epistemology to upper-level undergraduates.

The ability to create inclusive learning environments for an increasingly diverse student body will be an important characteristic of the successful candidate.
