The Department of Political Science within the Division of Social Sciences at the University of California San Diego (http://polisci.ucsd.edu) invites applications in any field for multiple appointments at the rank of tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin July 1, 2017. Applicants should demonstrate strong skills in analytic reasoning, broadly defined, which may include one or more of the following: formal theory, analytic political philosophy, modelling, and quantitative methods. Successful candidates must hold, or expect to soon complete, a PhD. Our department is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body.
