Area(s) of specialization: ethical theory/moral psychology/applied ethics (especially biomedical ethics and big data ethics). Area(s) of competence: open, however, the department has interests in general philosophy of science and political philosophy. Position would begin Fall 2017. Ph.D. required by the time of appointment. Responsibilities: undergraduate teaching, usual advising and administrative duties. The position would likely involve opportunities for graduate teaching in many of the graduate programs at Rutgers University-Newark. Application deadline: October 30.
