Distinguished Professorship in Philosophy (EXPIRED)

The School of Arts and Sciences at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey (New Brunswick) is pleased to announce the creation of the William P. Alston Chair for the Philosophy of Religion.  We invite applications for a Distinguished Professorship in Philosophy, to begin September 1, 2017.

The successful candidate will share in the leadership of the Rutgers Center for the Philosophy of Religion, and participate in its activities, including the regular teaching of graduate seminars.

Ph.D. in Philosophy and a strong record of distinguished teaching and scholarly publications required.  We seek a candidate whose past and future research agenda includes important contributions to the philosophy of religion.
