Sawyier Pre-doctoral Teaching Fellowship (EXPIRED)

ILLINOIS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, CHICAGO, IL.  Fay Horton Sawyier Pre-Doctoral Teaching Fellowship in Philosophy.  One year fellowship, renewable for a second year, intended for graduate students at the dissertation stage of their studies.  Begins August 2017.  We are interested in candidates with a research specialty in Ancient philosophy or Ethics.  Teaching responsibilities typically consist of one upper-level undergraduate philosophy course and one lower-level humanities course each semester.  Salary $38,000 per year plus benefits and relocation assistance.  Funding for travel to professional conferences is available on a case to case basis.  Candidates must have completed all the requirements for the Ph.
