Job description |
WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY, St. Louis, MO The Department of Philosophy is accepting applications for two (2) McDonnell Postdoctoral Fellowships for the 2017-2018 academic year in the Department’s program of Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology (PNP). Housed within the Department of Philosophy, the PNP program promotes formal and informal interaction with Washington University psychologists and neuroscientists. The program includes both graduates and undergraduates degree offerings, a wide range of courses and seminars, and regular colloquia and research group meetings. Each PNP postdoctoral fellow would be expected to teach two courses per year in the Department of Philosophy, present public lectures, carry out independent research, and coordinate PNP functions. There is a strong probability that, with successful performance, fellowships would be renewed for a second year, 2018-2019. More information on the PNP program is available at http://pnp.artsci.wustl.edu/. To ensure full consideration, interested candidates should send curriculum vitae, three (3) letters of reference, a succinct writing sample, and a brief statement of teaching and research interests by November 15, 2016, to the Department’s administrator, Dee Stewart, [email protected], including ‘PNP post-doc Search’ in the e-mail Subject field. Washington University in St. Louis is committed to the principles and practices of equal employment opportunity. It is the University’s policy to recruit, hire, train, and promote persons in all job titles without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, protected veteran status, disability, or genetic information. |
