Philosophy: Assistant Professor of Philosophy - 000324 The Department of Philosophy at the University of Richmond invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level to begin August 2017. We seek a candidate with a strong commitment to high quality undergraduate education. AOS: early modern philosophy, including Kant. AOC: open. The successful candidate will be expected to teach five courses per year. We seek individuals with demonstrated teaching excellence. Candidates with the ability to contribute to one of the University’s interdisciplinary programs, such as environmental studies, WGSS, cognitive science, linguistics or PPEL encouraged. A Ph.D. is required. ABDs will be considered, but must have completed the Ph.D. degree by the start date.
