Job description

UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO DENVER, Denver, CO. Assistant Professor, tenure-track, beginning fall 2017.  2/2 teaching load, undergraduate and some graduate teaching. Some thesis supervision. Usual non-teaching duties. AOS: Social and Political Philosophy, broadly construed to include theoretical and/or practical foci such as environmental philosophy, healthcare, philosophy of economics, philosophy of the social sciences.  AOC: Open, but some preference will be given to candidates able to teach introductory and intermediate logic.  Additionally, we are seeking a candidate whose research and teaching complements our philosophy program, which is historically oriented and pluralistic, integrating American, Analytic, and Continental traditions.  Ph.D. by August 1, 2017 required.
