Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

A tenure-track position in Philosophy, beginning September 1, 2017.   The rank is Assistant Professor with an open area of specialization/concentration.  Teaching responsibilities include three courses per year plus supervision; usual departmental duties; and no summer work. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications. A Ph.D. or equivalent by September 1, 2017is strongly preferred, but not required.  Candidates for the Ph.D. who have not completed all the requirements by September 1, 2017 may only be appointed at the rank of Instructor for one year (renewable).  The department welcomes applications from candidates with prior experience as well as from new Ph.D.'s. 2)        a curriculum vitae,

3)        a  sample of writing in the candidate's field of specialization,

4)        three or more confidential letters of reference.
