The College of Arts and Sciences and the Department of Philosophy, Theology, and Religious Studies and invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position with an area of specialization in Political Philosophy.  Preferred areas of concentration include Feminism, Ethical Theory, and Philosophy of Law. The successful candidate’s expected teaching responsibilities will include Introduction to Social and Political Philosophy and participation in the University-required critical thinking/logic course, The Art of Thinking, which provides an introduction to informal and formal logic with the goal of improving students’ critical thinking skills.  A typical academic year requires a 4/4 teaching load.
