University lecturer (EXPIRED)

For philosophy, we seek someone for a 4-year period, but under some circumstances a permanent contract might be possible. Time to be used for teaching and research is about 50-50. Teaching can be in English, and takes place at upper undergraduate and graduate (master/doctoral) levels. (Exception to the formal Finnish language requirement is normally given for non-Finnish nationals.) Specialization is open, but we seek someone who fits with what we others do (e.g. history of philosophy). The department has open positions also in other subjects, e.g. gender studies and social work (with needs in social ethics).
