Associate Lecturer (EXPIRED)

The Faculty of Arts continues to enjoy a period of strong student growth in its undergraduate enrolments across most discipline areas. This Career Development Fellowship has been created to help cover the Faculty's teaching needs, to enhance its research expertise and also to provide an opportunity for a recent PhD graduate to gain career experience as a teaching and research academic. The role is for a fixed period of three years and the Unit the appointee will be attached to will be determined on appointment and based on the candidate's area of expertise.

The successful candidate will contribute to teaching across all undergraduate levels in their relevant discipline(s). Some postgraduate teaching may be required if relevant to the discipline. The successful candidate will be able to teach in at least two areas of the Faculty's undergraduate teaching program and may be asked to contribute to teaching across different programs and degrees as appropriate. You will also have been awarded your PhD within the last three years and have a publication record or potential to publish high quality original research.
