KENT STATE UNIVERSITY, KENT, OH. Assistant Professor, tenure-track, beginning fall, 2017. 6 courses/year, undergraduate and graduate. Some MA thesis supervision. Usual non-teaching duties. AOS:  Philosophy of mind or philosophy of psychology, informed by continental traditions. AOC:  At least 2 from among the following: Continental philosophy, with a focus on a historical period from the 19th century to the present; Kant; hermeneutics; critical race theory and/or feminist theory. As part of a University-wide investment in a Brain Health Center we seek a candidate who will contribute expertise in pluralistic philosophy of mind or psychology, beyond our existing strength in analytic philosophy of mind and science. Undergraduate teaching, research/publication experience, and Ph.D. in philosophy required.
