Job description |
Sweet Briar College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Philosophy beginning in Fall, 2017. Candidates must hold the Ph.D. in Philosophy and have experience teaching undergraduate majors and non-majors in the history of philosophy or the history of modern philosophy. The preferred area of specialization is Continental Philosophy and/or the History of Modern Philosophy, and the candidate should be able to teach a course in logic, political philosophy, feminist philosophies and philosophies of gender, ethics, and the introduction to the study of philosophy. The normal teaching load is 3:3.
