Assistant Professor in Writing and Reasoning (EXPIRED)

Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, invites applications for a tenure-track position in Writing and Reasoning at the Assistant Professor level. The successful applicant will be expected to teach critical analysis, high level writing skills and rhetoric and will encourage students to develop intellectual skills that are central to the development of their academic careers.  

NTU is a research-intensive university (58th in 2011 QS World University Rankings) with globally acknowledged strengths in science and engineering as well as thriving programs in the humanities, arts, and social sciences.  For the first three-years the appointee will teach primarily in the new University Scholars Programme, a high-level, multidisciplinary undergraduate programme. The teaching load is appropriate to that of a major research university (2/2).
