Cleveland State University is searching for active, culturally and academically diverse faculty of the highest caliber.

The Department of Philosophy and Comparative Religion at Cleveland State University invites applications for an Assistant College Lecturer position. AOS: Applied Ethics; AOC: Engineering Ethics. Duties will consist of teaching 12 credit hours/4 courses per semester including Engineering Ethics as well as other introductory level courses.

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Philosophy in hand by July 1, 2017; Evidence of teaching experience; AOS and AOC as specified above.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching Engineering Ethics, practical experience in engineering or related field, ability to teach bioethics courses, evidence of teaching achievement, and the ability to contribute through teaching and/or service to the diversity, cultural sensitivity, and excellence of the academic community.

Position begins August 15, 2017. Salary commensurate with qualifications.
