Job description |
Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor, starting August 2017. AOS: Ethics. Job entails teaching a full load of undergraduate courses and advising students. Candidates should demonstrate ability to teach the following courses: Introduction to Ethics, Medical Ethics, Confronting Death. Applicants must have prior teaching experience. Must have PhD in Philosophy by date of appointment, August 2017, for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor; ABD in Philosophy for appointment as Instructor. We seek a candidate who will demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching. The department is pluralist and emphasizes the history of philosophy and the teaching of primary texts. Screening of applications will begin April 7, 2017 and continue until the position is filled. Interviews will be conducted over Skype.
