Job description |
The Department of Philosophy at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs seeks candidates for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor of Philosophy, to begin August 15, 2018. Area of specialty is Moral and Political Philosophy; preference for candidates who can teach politics and the law, philosophy of law, ethical theory, and/or normative ethics. Candidates who can teach epistemology are preferred. Teaching load five courses per academic year, plus advising and committee work. Must have PhD in Philosophy in hand by July 2018. Evidence of strong teaching record and research program preferred. Position is open until filled. Applications received by October 31, 2017 will receive full consideration.
