2 Post-Doctoral Fellowships (EXPIRED)

The Faculty of Social Sciences and Philosophy/Department of Philosophy of the University of Leipzig invites applications for the following positions as from April 2018:

2 Post-Doctoral Fellowships
(full-time position, initially terminated for 3 years)
standard public service salary: Entgeltgruppe 13 TV-L

The positions will be affiliated with the Forschungskolleg Analytic German Idealism.

AOS: Open
AOC: Some aspect of the German philosophical tradition form Kant to Wittgenstein

Duties:

• conception of and participation in research projects of the Department of Philosophy
  teaching (2 courses per year)
• assistance in planning and preparing events associated with the FAGI
• assistance in matters of academic governance
• independent research

Requirements:

• PhD in Philosophy

In the selection of candidates, the following criteria will all play an important role:

• quality of previous research and publications
• fit of the candidate's research profile with the research program of the FAGI and the research foci of the Department of Philosophy
• international and especially transatlantic experience
