Florida State University, Department of Philosophy Teaching Faculty position in philosophy (permanent non-tenure-track position); beginning Fall 2018. Ph.D. required (applicants must have the PhD in hand by July 1st, 2018). This is a twelve month teaching position with a load of three or four courses per semester in fall and spring, and one or two in the summer, depending on other duties. The successful applicant will teach a selection of undergraduate courses, such as introduction to philosophy, introductory and applied ethics, reasoning and critical thinking, and various courses in the history of philosophy and political philosophy.
