Assistant Professor of Philosophy (EXPIRED)

The Department of Religion, Philosophy, and Classics at Augustana College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in Philosophy beginning in the fall of 2012. AOS open. AOC open.

Competence in the analytic tradition and ability to teach philosophy of mind very desirable. Ability to teach ethics or ethical theory also desirable. Candidate should be prepared to teach Critical Thinking and Introduction to Philosophy. The department values exposing our students to a broad range of philosophic practices and traditions. Teaching load is 3-1-3 with a one-course January term.
