The Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Louisiana State University invites applications for the position of Instructor in Philosophy beginning Fall 2018. AOS: Open. AOC: Open. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to undergraduate teaching and will be expected to teach four courses per semester (eight per year), including Introduction to Philosophy and Introductory Ethics. M.A. or equivalent degree is the minimum required for appointment as an instructor. An offer of employment is contingent on a satisfactory pre-employment background check.
