Tenure Track Faculty Position: Research Area Open

 The University of Washington Information School seeks a truly outstanding scholar to broaden and deepen our research and scholarship in any area relevant to the information field. We seek a creative, collaborative, and forward-thinking individual, who demonstrates excellence in research and education, to join our faculty in forging the future of the information field. The individual should be excited by, able to thrive in, and eager to contribute to our diverse, intellectually stimulating, multi-disciplinary environment that respects a wide variety of research traditions and methods, and is open to new areas and methods.

We are recruiting for a full-time 9-month tenure track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor (job class code 10116). Applicants must have a Ph.D., JD, EdD, or foreign equivalent by date of appointment. Our new colleague will join a broad-based, inclusive community of scholars, students, and staff dedicated to sustaining leadership in our dynamic and growing field. Candidates should show a commitment to bridging research and practice. Faculty members in the Information School teach across programs, and University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service.
