Job description

Appointment:  One-year visiting assistant professor in Philosophy for the 2018-19 academic year.

Responsibilities: Teach five or six courses for the year, to include some combination of introductory and upper-level courses. Responsibilities may include Ancient Philosophy, Philosophy of Science, Gender and Philosophy, or Comparative Philosophy, among other possibilities.

Qualifications:  A doctoral degree (ABD considered) in Philosophy and a commitment to liberal arts education are required.

Rank: Visiting Assistant Professor

Salary is commensurate with education, experience, and teaching load.
