Visiting Position (EXPIRED)

The Philosophy Department at Pomona College invites applications for a full-time, one academic year, visiting position to begin August 1, 2018 (Fall 2018 through Spring 2019). The teaching load is 2-3; class size is typically 20 students. The department also has additional teaching needs in Philosophy of Language. 

Pomona College is a highly selective liberal arts college. It is a member of the Claremont Colleges, which also include Claremont McKenna, Scripps, Pitzer, Harvey Mudd, and the Claremont Graduate University. Collectively, the Claremont Colleges constitute an academic community of 6,000 students and more than 20 philosophers. The Colleges are located 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles.
