The Philosophy Department at Kwantlen Polytechnic University invites applications for a full time (100%), permanent, Regular faculty position beginning September 1, 2018.

Applicants for this position, unless they instruct otherwise, will automatically be considered for our one-year contract position.

The Person

We are seeking individuals who meet the following qualifications:

A Ph.D (or equivalent) is preferred, although applicants in the final stages of their dissertations will also be considered.  Successful applicants will provide evidence of research potential as well as teaching excellence.

The area of specialization is open. Area of competence (AOC) must include Business Ethics and at least one of the following: History of Philosophy, Philosophy of Law, Philosophy of Science, or advanced undergraduate logic.
