Assistant Professor - Philosophy (EXPIRED)

The Department of Philosophy at Misericordia University invites applications for a 3 year term appointment. AOS: Ethics, History of Philosophy, AOC: Medical Ethics, Philosophy of Medicine.  Applicants must be able to offer courses in the Core Curriculum and in their area of specialization, and they should be prepared to teach courses in a new interdisciplinary Medical Health and Humanities program, to which the Philosophy department contributes.  A collaboration of academic disciplines in the Humanities, Health Sciences, and Sciences, the Medical Health and Humanities program offers a broad educational experience that challenges students to view healthcare through the lens of cultural, familial, philosophical, spiritual, mental, and social conditions.  A Ph.D. in Philosophy is required, (ABD considered).
