Term Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

The Philosophy Department at Barnard College invites applications for two full-time, one-year visiting positions as Term Assistant Professor, fall 2018 & spring 2019 semesters (appointment from 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019). The teaching load is 2 & 3, to include Introduction to Philosophy.

Both positions are open AOS & AOC, but we have teaching needs in early modern, social & political, and ethics broadly construed, including various areas of applied ethics.

Barnard is a highly selective liberal arts college in New York City. The Barnard and Columbia Philosophy Departments cooperate at all levels and function as a single, unified department.
