Job description

The Department of Philosophy invites applications for the position of Department Head. The preferred start date is January 2019. We seek a scholar at the advanced associate professor or full professor level, with an outstanding record of research and teaching and relevant service or administrative experience. The successful candidate will provide fresh perspectives and seasoned leadership for a department of 12 tenured or tenure-track faculty, a robust undergraduate program, and a graduate program offering M.A. and Ph.D. degrees. A Ph.D. in Philosophy or related discipline is required.
