Salary: Appointment will be made on the Assistant Professorship Salary Scale at a point in line with Government Pay Policy (€33,875 to €82,280 per annum). Appointment will be made no higher than point 8, i.e. €48,091.

The Department of Philosophy, School of Social Sciences and Philosophy is seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor in Philosophy, to commence on 1st August 2018. Applications are particularly welcome from the subfield of Analytic Philosophy of Mind and candidates with additional interests in artificial intelligence, phenomenology or non-western philosophy would be welcomed.
