Lecturer in Philosophy

The Clemson University Department of Philosophy and Religion seeks to hire a lecturer in Philosophy for the 2018-19 academic year, beginning August 15, 2018. Ph.D. in Philosophy required (no ABD’s).  AOS and AOC open, but candidates should be able to teach introductory philosophy and ethics courses, in particular “Science and Values.”  The ability to teach environmental ethics and/or coach our intercollegiate ethics bowl team would be a plus.  For full consideration, please submit detailed qualifications through Interfolio, including C.V., evidence of teaching effectiveness, and three letters of recommendation by June 25, 2018.
