Job description

The School of Historical and Philosophical Inquiry, The University of Queensland, is advertising for a Lecturer in Philosophy (equivalent to an Assistant Professor, tenure-track position).

Applicants should have a PhD in the area of Logic or Philosophical Logic, and have a track record of success in research in Logic or Philosophical Logic. Applicants should also be competent to teach Philosophy of Science, Metaphysics and Epistemology. Appointees will be expected to pursue a strong and productive program of research and actively contribute to the research performance of the discipline. Appointees will also be expected to establish connections within and across disciplinary boundaries and undertake administrative and other activities associated with the School.
