The Department of Philosophy at the University of South Carolina invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track, position in the area of philosophy of law to begin August 16, 2019. AOS: Philosophy of law. AOC: Open. The successful applicant will be expected to make a significant contribution to the department’s PhD program, and to work with both Philosophy and the University of South Carolina School of Law to develop two programs: an inter-disciplinary minor in ‘Law, Values, and Society’, and a degree program within Philosophy focused on law. Candidates must have Ph.D. in Philosophy in hand on or before August 15, 2019; a J.D. is preferred but not required.
