Job description

Lecturer in Bioethics

  • Lecturers in Bioethics will research, teach and make contributions to the University and wider community
  • Located within the School of Public Health at our Camperdown Campus
  • 2 Full-Time roles available (1 role is Continuing and 1 role is 3 year fixed term), Remuneration package, $123k - $146k p.a which includes leave loading and up to 17% superannuation


About the opportunity 

As Lecturer in Bioethics, your role will include research, research-led teaching and contributions to the University of Sydney, the discipline of bioethics and the wider community. You will teach and assess, undertake research and carry out relevant administrative duties appropriate to the role under the management of the Director of Sydney Health Ethics.

  • provide high-quality teaching and leadership in teaching at Sydney Health Ethics
  • contribute to research and scholarship and their evaluation at Sydney Health Ethics, including applying for competitive grants either individually or as part of a team
  • contribute to the supervision of higher degree students at Sydney Health Ethics.
