Job description

The Department of Philosophy of Georgetown University seeks to fill a senior position with a scholar whose philosophical research is constructively engaged with Catholic intellectual traditions.  The area of the search is otherwise open.    We welcome applications both from scholars who view their work as primarily historical in focus and from those who do not. 

We aim to fill this position at the level of a distinguished chair, but encourage applications from outstanding associate-level scholars. The course load is 2-2; teaching will be at both the graduate and the undergraduate levels and will include graduate supervision.
