Teaching Assistant Professor of Philosophy (EXPIRED)

Siena College invites applications for a teaching faculty position to begin in the fall of 2019.

AOS: Contemporary continental philosophy.

AOC: Teaching competence in ancient or modern philosophy.

The successful candidate will have a commitment to collaborative and innovative teaching in a liberal arts college setting and to contributing to the intellectual life of the college. Salary and benefits extremely competitive. The teaching load for teaching faculty is 4/4, but with only two preps per semester, and includes both introductory-level and upper-level courses. Teaching faculty may be eligible for renewal and promotion to senior teaching faculty.  Ph.D. required at time of appointment.
