Job description |
One-Year Visiting Assistant Professor in Philosophy, beginning September 2019. Areas of expertise: open. Areas of competence: open, but ability to teach logic is highly desirable. The ideal applicant will have a Ph.D. in philosophy, but advanced ABDs in philosophy will be considered. The successful applicant will be expected to teach in her/his area of expertise and of teaching competence at all undergraduate levels, from introductory to advanced. Teaching load is 2 courses per term; Union College’s academic year consists of three 10-week trimesters.
