Job description

The Department of History and Philosophy seeks applications for a nine-month tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Philosophy beginning Fall 2013. The successful candidate will teach courses for the new major and general education as well as upper division courses in their area of expertise.  The ideal candidate will have expertise in Indian and Feminist Philosophy, an area of competence in Contemporary Philosophy and the ability to teach logic. A commitment to excellence in teaching, complemented by strong scholarship and service is expected of all faculty members in KSU’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
