Job description |
The Department of Philosophy and the University Center for Human Values invite applications for a tenure track position in ethics and/or political philosophy beginning September 2013. Applicants should have substantial teaching and research interests in bioethics (though it is not required that their previous work be in bioethics). The position involves teaching, advising, and service responsibilities in both the center and the department. The successful candidate will provide evidence of excellence in scholarship, teaching, and professional development. Qualifications Completion of PhD by September 2013 expected. Applicants who have not completed the requirements for the Ph.D. by September 1, 2013 may only be appointed at the rank of instructor, and only for one year (renewable).
