Adjunct Instructor (EXPIRED)

State Fair Community College is seeking qualified instructors for our adjunct pool in Philosophy, teaching at the Boonville Campus working day hours. If you would like to be considered for openings at any of our campuses, please complete the on-line application process.

Duties & Responsibilities

The person in this position will be responsible for duties related to teaching as an adjunct faculty. Internet or ITV instruction may be required.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in appropriate field and 18 credit graduate hours in the discipline. Higher education and teaching experience preferred. A demonstrated record of excellence in teaching preferred.

Additional Experience to be considered

Have a working knowledge of computers as a medium to manage and improve instruction. Ability to interact with a broad range of people both on and off campus in a positive manner. Show evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills. Possess an understanding of the range of needs community college students represent. Possess a commitment to the philosophy and mission of the community college. Willingness to improve instruction through professional development including pedagogy and technology.
