Lecturer in Philosophy (3 year Fixed term Full time) School of History, Philosophy, Political Science and International Relations The Philosophy Programme seeks to make a fixed-term, full-time appointment beginning in July 2020. Rank: Lecturer (equivalent to Visiting Assistant Professor). Areas of specialisation: Metaphysics and Epistemology, broadly construed. Teaching duties include teaching into core courses in Philosophy at the undergraduate and graduate levels (equivalent to 3 courses per year), with the usual advising and administrative duties, as agreed with the Head of School, School of History, Philosophy, Political Studies and International Relations. Candidates should expect to receive their Ph.D. by the time of appointment (July 2020).
