Job description |
Assistant Professor, tenure track. Position begins August 16, 2020. AOS: Value Theory (broadly construed); AOC: Feminist Philosophy and/or issues at the intersection of Philosophy, Politics, Economics, and Law. Ph.D. in Philsoophy required by time of appointment. 3/3 teaching load. We seek a philosopher with a promising research program who will achieve exvellence in teaching undergraduate Philosophy courses to a diverse student body. The successful candidate will be actively engaged in recruiting students (especially pre-law students) to the Philosophy major. The Department of Philsoophy and Religion at Mississippi State is a research-active group of faculy at a Carnegie "Very High Research" land-grant institution.
