Adjunct Faculty (EXPIRED)

The School of New Resources of The College of New Rochelle seeks adjunct faculty for our New York City and New Rochelle campuses. The School of New Resources offers a baccalaureate degree in the Liberal Arts to adult learners. We have six campuses - Brooklyn, Downtown and Uptown Manhattan, the Bronx, Coop City, and New Rochelle. We are seeking instructors in all areas of the liberal arts - psychology, social sciences, english composition, developmental writing, the humanities, communications, mathematics, history/philosophy of science, philosophy, religious studies, literature, American studies, sociology, the general liberal arts studies, urban studies, library science, etc. We are also seeking instructors in several professional areas, including health care administration, labor studies, and criminal justice. 

Our classes meet once per week and are offered in the morning (generally from 10am - 2pm) and evening (from 6 - 10pm.) 

Applicants must possess a Master's degree (at a minimum) in the area in which they wish to teach and be comfortable with adult learners and a non-traditional program. Positions are available for all upcoming semesters. 

The School of New Resources also seeks qualified tutors in English and Math. The minimum requirement to tutor is a baccalaureate degree in the respective field.
