Lecturer in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) The School of Politics and International Relations, a top-ranked political science department in Australia, is seeking to make a fixed-term, 2-year, academic appointment in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE). We welcome applications from outstanding political scientists and political philosophers in PPE. Additional subfields are open. The appointee will have an excellent record, or demonstrated potential for excellence, in research and publication, and in education. As well as teaching, the appointee will be expected to undertake research relevant to their field of expertise, supervision of PhD students and to work collegially with other members of the School. This position is based in Canberra. The successful applicant should have a background in political science/political philosophy and will be expected to teach two courses per year. An ability to teach research design and research methods is desirable. Availability to start in January 2021 is highly desirable.
