The Department of History, Philosophy, and Political Science invites applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level. Teaches undergraduate courses in Philosophy and other related areas. Additional duties include student advisement, committee participation, and continuous activity.
Performs teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions. QUALIFICATIONS Seek applicants for a full-time, tenure-track position. Ph.D., teaching experience, and evidence of ability to publish are required. AOS and AOC are open, but candidates must be able to teach a broad range of philosophy courses. Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required are the ability to teach successfully, demonstrated scholarship or achievement, and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution. COMPENSATION $42,873 - $81,645; commensurate with qualifications and experience.
