The Department of Economics, Philosophy, and Political Science, Irving K. Barber Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan Campus, invites applications for a tenure-track position in Philosophy at the rank of Assistant Professor. The area of specialization is limited to candidates with expertise in Ethics and Moral Philosophy. The area of specialization is limited to candidates with expertise in the analytic tradition, and we are interested in compentencies in the Ethics of AI, the Philosophy of Mind, Philosophy of Psychology and the History of Philosophy. The successful candidates will have a PhD in Philosophy at the time of appointment and will become a member of the Department of Economics, Philosophy, and Political Science (https://epp.ok.ubc.ca). The appointment is expected to start on July 1, 2023.
