COLBY COLLEGE, Waterville, ME. Faculty Fellow in Philosophy, one-year sabbatical replacement beginning September 1, 2017. Four courses per year to include a survey in the History of Modern Philosophy, an introductory philosophy course, and two more from candidate's AOS. AOS: Modern Philosophy. AOC: Value Theory and one or more areas of applied ethics, such as global ethics or bioethics, desirable. We are a philosophically pluralistic department and welcome candidates who have teaching and research interests in subjects that will contribute to the understanding of diversity, inclusivity, and difference in theory and practice. ABD or Ph.D. in Philosophy and evidence of teaching excellence required.
