Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

Tenure track appointment as Assistant Professor to begin August 16, 2017. AOS: Practical Ethics. AOC: open. The department is particularly interested in appointing someone whose research and teaching interests will support the Public Health and/or Environmental and Sustainability Studies programs. Ph.D. in Philosophy (or a closely related field) is required by August 15th, 2017 for appointment as Assistant Professor at full salary. (ABD candidates who have not completed their degree by this date can be considered.) Promise of excellence in teaching and research required. Under the department’s current instructional workload approach, the normal teaching load for those actively engaged in productive research is 3/2.
