Job description

Ashoka University invites applications for a open-rank Visiting Professor position for Spring 2017 that may be renewed for upto two further semesters. AOS Ethics/Political Philosophy, AOC open. All candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in philosophy by the time of appointment. The successful applicant will teach two courses a semester in addition to the usual administrative and advising duties. Ashoka University offers a competitive salary. All applicants should submit their materials via the online faculty recruitment portal. Tenured applicants should submit a cover letter, CV, a list of references, and a list of publications. Untenured applicants should submit, additionally, letters of recommendation, a teaching portfolio, and a writing sample.
